Hamster
My wife likes pets. One of her favorites is hamster. Now we have two hamsters from 4 we had. Yeah... two of them had gone, one died for a sick, and one had run away. Poor cute hamsters!
Above is Tiko. That's his name. He is still alive. I love him so much that I toke a picture to make a wallpaper for you. It's pretty difficult to get him captured as he is very active and always moving. So it's a fortune having him pictured in close-up! Thanks, Tiko! You're very cute!
Below was Tiki. Oh, My... She run away! Whereas she was pregnant! My wife and I were so sad for her. Fortunately I still was able to get her captured. So, this wallpaper is a memorial pic of her. Oh, Tiki... where are you now? We miss you!

Fly (insect)
Being well-designed from the beginning...
You are THE MOST!
On another blog, I shared my reflection on a separated fly. Such disgusting insects usually stay in dirty and vile places. Some days ago, I got a picture of another fly, which perched on a leaf in my veranda. Still inspired by the reflection, I write an insight as shown on the picture.
Flies may be insignificant creatures as they are supposed to be animal that brings many of epidemics. A question may occur in our mind, “Why do they exist? Why does God create such of dangerous animals? Etc…” We may ask this question for being the most superior amongst all creatures.
Instead of being more arrogant, why do not we think of our responsibility as human? Being human must be more responsible, mustn’t we? If flies have been well design by the nature from the beginning, moreover we human are! It is our responsibility to be thankful more significantly! [skd]

Silhouette
I toke the picture at morning. It is a silhouette of some trees in front of my house. At the bottom of the picture is my neighbor's roof. I have edited the original with glass filtered effect.
If you want some words to describe the idea behind the picture you can type this quote:
"To see the real world, we should put clear glasses on our eyes!"
Hope you love it!

If there is no wind, row!
"If there is no wind, row!"
~ Proverb
This quote inspired me to make a new category in this blog: motivational. Then I searched for suitable picture as an illustration. There are many wonderful pics on Flickr.com. I chose one from the photostream of Petervanallen (thanks Peter!). The original picture has title "row row row your boat". Originally, its size is 836*836. I have it resized to 1024*768 and cropped to match with the new size.
I think you could get the insight of the quote. It's about optimism to deal with many problems in our lives. We have to keep struggling. The given spirit drives movements from inside. We have to believe that our dreams will come true if we do something and give up not! [skd]

The royal seal of Kraton Jogja
Still from the land of Jogja, now I present to you the royal seal of Sultan Hamengku Buwana. In Javanese language the seal is called "Praja Cihna". Kings of Kasultanan Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat (Jogja or Yogyakarta) used the symbol to validate their official letters. Since the kingdom has become a cultural power of the people, sometimes common people who has no relationship with the palace also use the symbol to express their pride of being Jogja people. They put stickers or badges of it on their motorbikes, cars, tables or on the guest's room wall. You're right, I post this picture so that you can put it on your desktop as well! [skd]

Gigantic statue of Vishnu
Vishnu, also known as Narayana, is supreme being or Ultimate Reality for Vaishnavas and a manifestation of Brahman in the Advaita or Smarta traditions of Hinduism (Wikipedia).
This picture is a sequel to the picture I've posted before, The Head of Garuda. It was taken in the same place: Garuda Wishnu Kencana, Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia. I Nyoman Nuarta is the engineer behind the project of that spectacular site. [skd]
